Raising Better Puppies
My program is designed to shape every aspect of your puppy’s development and to help mold them into the best dog they can be.
I focus heavily on this socialization, desensitization, obedience training, self-control, focus, and emotional intelligence, and nurturing the bond between puppy and parent.

Educating new puppies and their parents is a big part of my program. Even experienced dog owners can learn new tricks. I am committed to helping you get ready to bring your Goldendoodle puppy home and to provide a lifetime of support to my puppy families.
Early Neurological Stimulation
The purpose of ENS is to build a tolerance to all kinds of stress that they will encounter throughout their lives. It is a series of exercises performed once a day starting when the puppy is 3 days old and continuing until they are 16 days old. ENS includes handling the puppies one at a time while performing a series of five exercises that introduce mild stresses to very young puppies in a controlled way. These stresses help stimulate the neurological system which improves the growth and development of the pup's immune system, cardiovascular system, and stress tolerance. .
Desensitizing
Between 2 -3 weeks of age, I start desensitizing the puppies to the world around them. I introduce them to noises, (noises include: fireworks, thunderstorms, doorbells, dogs barking, traffic, household sounds etc.) smells, and objects that they might find scary, or strange when they get older. I am always careful to introduce things slowly and at the right age. I also desensitize them to handling and grooming. It's very important for puppies to be ok being handled and groomed. Motion is another thing I like to desensitize them to. Around 4 or 5 weeks we start taking trips in the car and in the stroller.
Socialization
Puppy Culture is the program I use for socialization. Developed by Jane Killion, this training program focuses on the importance of the CRITICAL SOCIALIZATION PERIOD for your puppy from 3 weeks to 12 weeks old. This science-based program helps puppies become well socialized, emotionally intelligent, and to overcome experiences that may be initially frightening. It also teaches them to seek out new experiences rather than fear them. Socialization during this time frame is more than just exposure to other dogs and people. Proper socialization focuses on experiences deliberately chosen to enhance your puppy's emotional intelligence so they will be able to understand their place in society and form emotional bonds with humans. We focus on the 7 key components that make up emotional intelligence.
Obedience Training
My obedience training is another thing that sets my program apart from other breeders. I believe that it’s very beneficial to teach puppies as much as possible during the critical 3 -12 week window. They learn to communicate with people, to love training, and develop amazing self-control. Here is a rough schedule of what I will cover at what age.
4 weeks: clicker training, auto sit, auto-heal
5 weeks: leash training, look at me, leave it
6 weeks: come, and group training to reinforce self-control.
7 weeks: down, up
8 weeks: review all commands up to this point, if the puppies are doing well with all the training previously taught, I would like to teach stay, release
Potty training starts as soon as they can walk. Crate training starts at 4 weeks.
